Thug breaks jaw of rugby player wearing red onesie - because he thought he was a Power Ranger

A rugby player had his jaw broken in a very bizarre mistaken identity attack from a drunken thug thought he was an electric Ranger.
Andy Mulligan was with a Christmas lads night out, sporting a festive red onesie as soon as he was brutally set upon by an unknown thug.
The 24-year-old was punched from the face on a Revolution Clubhouse dance floor in Leeds which often broke his jaw.
It is understood which the unknown attacker was involved in a very scrap with another man within a different bar earlier that night time, who was in fancy dress being a red Power Ranger, star on the children's TV show Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Andy said: "I'd never ever seen the guy before. It had been totally unprovoked. He needs locking in place.
"I've got a friend who knows someone who was simply knocked out in similar circumstances and they died as a result. "
The victim, who operates for supermarket Asda, had been drinking along with his rugby team before the occurrence.
He added: "I think he might have shouted Oi! ' but the next action I knew I'd turned rounded and he'd smacked me from the face and knocked me available.
"Apparently he was half way across town before I hit the terrain. "
The rugby player didn't head to hospital until the day following attack, when doctors told your pet his jaw was broken.
Since then, he has only been in a position to eat soft foods while setting up a recovery.
He said: "The fact that I wasn't more seriously injured is right down to luck more than anything. inch
Police are appealing for information about the incident, which occurred upon December 18.
Detective Constable Kate Hutton stated: "We believe this was an absolutely unprovoked attack where it presents itself he was mistaken for someone the suspect have been involved in scuffle with previously the dance floor. ".
